Boosie Badazz Arrested By Federal Agents Following Court Hearing

Boosie Badazz has reportedly been arrested.

According to TMZ, the 40-year-old rapper appeared in court today (Jun. 14) for his ongoing gun case, which was dismissed. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the only pending legal issue Boosie Badazz has been dealing with. Reportedly, moments after his gun case hearing wrapped, Boosie was arrested by federal agents outside the courtroom. As of now, it’s unclear why he was taken into police custody or when he’ll be released.

Boosie Badazz is no stranger to having run-ins with the law. You may recall that last June he went viral after footage surfaced online of an intense traffic stop he had in Georgia. Reportedly, he and a then 19-year-old De’Shun Lawrence were pulled over for driving with heavy window tint and a concealed tag. However, the “Set It Off” rapper was soon placed in handcuffs as the stop quickly went south. Officers allegedly smelled marijuana and decided to search the car. According to the bodycam footage, an officer on the scene said,

“You’re good. I got you, as long as you’re honest with me, I’m honest with you. Okay? Just standby.”

Boosie replied:

“I can’t keep going through this though, bro. I can’t, bro. I can’t, bro. I don’t do no wrong. I don’t do nothing, bro.”

After the cop informed Boosie that marijuana is illegal in the state of Georgia, he said:

“Bro, like, bro, I gotta go to ya’ll security and file charges man, it’s harassment. It’s every day! I can’t even live. I moved to the country to f*ck*ing live, bro!”

As the car search continued, he added,

“I don’t give a f*ck ‘bout no jail. I’m like that! I’ll go in there and fight the police and spit on a b*tch! Every f*ck*ng body, ’cause I’m tired, bro!”

Boosie and De’Shun Lawrence were eventually released from the handcuffs. A citation was given for the marijuana spotted in the vehicle.
