Jamie Foxx’s Co-Stars Shares Words of Support As He Misses ‘They Cloned Tyrone’ Premiere While Recovering From Medical Emergency

Jamie Foxx — Actor’s ‘They Cloned Tyrone’ Co-Stars Shares Words of Support As He Misses Film’s Premiere While Recovering From Medical Emergency
Jamie Foxx is still on the road to recovery, and some of his co-stars are sending him some encouraging words along the way!
The Academy Award-winning actor stars in the new Netflix sci-fi dramedy They Cloned Tyrone, but was unable to attend the premiere in Miami Beach on Wednesday since he is still suffering from a medical complication. While he was physically missed, his coworkers made sure to keep his memory alive by lending their voices to the chorus of supporters extending their love and well-wishes.
John Boyega said,
“I wanted him to show up here but you know, I know he’s dealing with what he’s dealing with, and we just wish him all the best.”
John Boyega, known for his role as Finn in Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens, said he hasn’t had a chance to speak with Jamie Foxx personally, adding that he missed seeing his co-star enjoy their film’s premiere.
Jamie Foxx is rehabilitating at a center in Chicago after news of his hospitalization in Atlanta for an unspecified medical issue broke on April 12. While his team has mostly remained quiet about his condition, a representative for the actor did make it a point to shut down claims that his issues stemmed from the COVID-19 vaccine.

During a podcast interview, gossip columnist A.J. Benza (falsely) said that,
“Jamie had a blood clot in his brain after he got the shot. He did not want the shot, but the movie he was on, he was pressured to get it. The blood clot in the brain caused him at that point to be partially paralyzed and blind.”
However, a publicist for the Academy Award winner called A.J. Benza’s allegations “completely inaccurate.”
Juel Taylor, the They Cloned Tyrone director, described Jamie Foxx as “a master” of his craft and said it’s hard to put into words how much the actor gave to the movie. Taylor added,
“He definitely is in my thoughts and prayers for sure.”
Teyonah Parris recalled how much fun it was to work with Foxx on set and how his lively energy helped the cast and crew have a good time while filming. She added,
“I wish Jamie all the recovery and healing. He’s just so amazing. It was just such an honor to work with him. He’s so generous as an actor and as a human, along with John. I got lucky to be able to work with such dope men on this project, and dope men of color, that it was just so much fun.”
They Cloned Tyrone will release July 21 on Netflix.
theJasmineBrand continues to keep Jamie Foxx and his loved ones in our prayers during this time!
