‘RHOBH’ Star Kyle Richards & Husband Mauricio Umansky Deny They Are Divorcing: ‘Please Do Not Create False Stories To Fit A Further Salacious Narrative’

Kyle Richards has let the world know that despite recent reports, she and her husband are not divorcing.

Yesterday (Jul. 3) the internet was in a frenzy after reports surfaced that “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” stars Kyle Richards, 54, and Mauricio Umansky, 53, were divorcing after 27 years of marriage. An insider shared with People,

“Kyle and Mauricio have been separated for a while now but are still living under the same roof. They remain amicable as they figure out what’s next for them and their family.”

However, the couple released a joint statement today (Jul. 4), denying the claims from the publication. They expressed,

“In regards to the news that came out about us today… Any claims regarding us divorcing are untrue. However, yes, we have had a rough year. The most challenging one of our marriage. But we both love and respect each other tremendously. There has been no wrongdoing on anyone’s part.”

The statement continued,

“Although we are in the public eye, we ask to be able to work through our issues privately. While it may be entertaining to speculate, please do not create false stories to fit a further salacious narrative.”

Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky aren’t the only Bravo “Housewives” couple who have slammed separation reports. As previously reported, last October People claimed that “Real Housewives of Potomac” alum Monique Samuels and her husband, former NFL player Chris Samuels, had split after 10 years of marriage. Initially, the pair denied the report and said that they are “absolutely not” going their separate ways.

However, late last month Monique Samuels filed documents to legally end her marriage to Chris. As of now, the former love birds haven’t said much on the issue.
