Donald Trump Wants To Debate Meghan Markle & Address How She Handled Queen Elizabeth II
Donald Trump apparently has some choice words for Meghan Markle.
The former president skipped the first Republican primary debate and has opted out of the second one later this month. He and his supporters have argued that he has a double-digit lead in the polls and no other candidate has a chance to compete with him.
While he doesn’t care to go back and forth with any of his competitors, he told radio host Hugh Hewitt he didn’t like how the Duchess of Sussex handled the late Queen Elizabeth II — and he’d love to confront her.
Donald Trump said,
“Let’s set it up. Let’s go do something. I’d love to debate her. I would love it.”
He added,
“I didn’t like the way she dealt with the Queen. I became very friendly with the Queen. She was an incredible woman. I think it’s not a good situation going on with the two of them, but I didn’t know that they don’t like me. Somebody mentioned it might be possible. They wouldn’t be the only ones.”
The twice-impeached president said the Queen, who was 96 at the time of her death in September 2022, was significantly more intelligent than President Joe Biden, who is 80.

Donald Trump met the Queen while on a state visit to the United Kingdom in June 2019. At the time, Meghan Markle and her husband Harry, the Duke of Sussex, were still members of the Royal Family.
However, Meghan Markle, who had previously been a vocal opponent of Trump and his views, chose not to attend the state functions, citing maternity leave after giving birth to eldest son Archie.
As for Joe Biden‘s relationship with the Queen, the president attended her funeral with First Lady Jill Biden. However, Trump slammed his political competitor for not attending King Charles‘ coronation.

In a March interview with Nigel Farage, Trump implied that Joe Biden was not physically capable of making the trip. He said,
“He’s got a lot of things going and a lot of strange things happen. But certainly he should be here as a representative of our country. I was surprised when I heard that he wasn’t coming.”
Trump added,
“That man is incompetent, and it’s a shame. He can’t even come to your Coronation as a country, and your Coronation’s a big event. When you have somebody that’s going to be sleeping instead of coming to the coronation as president of the United States, I think it’s a bad thing. The reason is he’s sleeping. It shouldn’t happen. It’s disrespectful.
