Tina Knowles Slams Rumors That Beyoncé Bleached Her Skin For ‘Renaissance’ Film Premiere: ‘I Am Sick & Tired Of People Attacking Her’
Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles, is debunking accusations that the musical icon is lightening her skin and hair to look like a white woman.
In a lengthy post shared to Tina Knowles’ Instagram account on Tuesday (Nov. 28), the businesswoman didn’t hold back when sounding off at critics taking shots at Beyoncé’s look for the premiere of her “Renaissance” film.

The 69-year-old seemingly had enough of negative comments from naysayers surrounding the platinum hair the singer sported at her event. She also slammed people who claimed Beyoncé has bleached her skin.

In part, Tina Knowles caption stated,
“Came across this today and decided to post it after seeing all of the stupid ignorant self, hating racist statements about her, lightening her skin, and wearing platinum hair wanting to be white. She does a film, called the renaissance, where the whole theme is silver with silver hair, a silver carpet, and suggested silver attire and you bozos decide that she’s trying to be a white woman and is bleaching her skin?..”
She furthered, emphasizing the fact that the color silver was a key theme surrounding Beyoncé’s “Renaissance” tour and movie.
“How sad is it that some of her own people continue the stupid narrative with hate and jealousy. Duh, she wore silver hair to match her silver dress as a fashion statement clown.. ALIEN Superstar duh!”
Tina also mentioned that a media outlet reached out to Beyoncé’s hairstylist for a comment on the reactions haters had about her hair, which made her “blood boil.”
She added,
“I am sick and tired of people attacking her. Every time she does something that she works her a** off for and is a statement of her work ethic, talent and resilience. Here you sad little haters come out the woodwork. Jealousy and racism, sexism, double standards, you perpetuate those things. Instead of celebrating a sister or just ignoring if you don’t like her. I am sick of you losers. I know that she is going to be pissed at me for doing this, but I am fed up!”

Tina’s post comes a few days after “Renaissance: A Film by Beyonce” debuted on Saturday night (Nov. 25) in Beverly Hills. The 42-year-old musician arrived at the premiere in a silver form-fitting dress, along with matching opera gloves and bright platinum hair.
