Gilbert Arenas Claims He Overheard Harvey Weinstein & Other Film Producers Talking About Having Sex w/ Halle Berry In Exchange For Movie Roles: ‘Every Single One Of Them Hit’

Former NBA player Gilbert Arenas recently shared a disturbing story about Halle Berry and Harvey Weinstein.

The basketball player claimed that he once overheard the actress’ name being brought up in a conversation about sexual favors.

Gilbert Arenas seemingly spoke about the topic during a live stream. In the video, he said that he previously heard convicted sex offender Harvey Weinstein discussing having sexual relations with Halle Berry in exchange for acting jobs. He alleged,

“2003, 2004 went to the playoff series and Halle Berry is walking by…fine…it was like 4, 5 white dudes sitting there…Harvey Weinstein was one of them,”

And continued:

“They was sitting there talking about ‘oh now she acting like she don’t know us. She wasn’t saying that when she needed that part’. Every single one of them hit…I was like, ‘noo not Halle. Noo not them. Yuck!’ D*mn, they got the Berry.”

Arenas’ story is unconfirmed, however, it may not be shocking for some if there was a little truth to his statement. As you may know, in 2017 Harvey Weinstein publicly faced a wave of sexual assault and harassment claims dating back to the 70s. He was eventually arrested and found guilty of 2 felony charges, landing him 23 years behind bars. As part of the complaints, more than 80 women came forward alleging that the former Hollywood exec would pressure them into performing sexual acts in exchange for opportunities in the industry as well as going as far as forcing himself upon them.

Notable celebs such as Salma Hayek, Angelina Jolie, and Lupita Nyong’o all came forward with disturbing recounts of Weinstein, cementing his end as a reputable film producer. The scandal sparked the social media “#metoo movement,” as more celebs began opening up about the toxic nature of the entertainment industry. Weinstein was later found guilty on three more felony charges and was sentenced to an additional 16 years in prison separate from the first sentencing. He is currently being detained at the Mohawk Correctional Facility in New York.

It does not appear that Berry has reacted to Arenas’ claims at this time.
