Megan Thee Stallion Trends As Social Media Reacts To Her Seemingly Dissing Nicki Minaj, Rihanna, & Drake + Nicki Minaj Appears To Respond: ‘B*tch Fell Off, I Said Get Up On Ya Good Foot’
Rap star Megan Thee Stallion recently released a new song and the internet is in shambles!
Several celebrities, including Nicki Minaj, Rihanna, and Drake have at some point been a trending topic since the song dropped, as many speculate them to be a few subjects of the rapper ‘s diss.
On her new single “Hiss” released overnight, Megan Thee Stallion, real name Megan Pete, made it perfectly clear she isn’t afraid to come for anyone she feels comes for her. The Houston native started the record by stating there were some things she wanted to “get [off] my chest”, which it certainly seems she did. In the lyrical masterpiece, it’s been speculated that the 28-year-old addressed several situations that occurred over the past few years, including being dropped as an ambassador from Rihanna’s Fenty x Savage brand, her beef with Nicki Minaj, as well as being mentioned on a Drake song.
Regarding Rihanna’s speculated involvement, in one part of the song, Megan raps:
“I can never be judged by a b*tch that was dancing making R. Kelly go viral”
Many felt this was a direct shot at the “Diamonds” singer, who has previously openly expressed her love for the jailed musician prior to his sex offender conviction. One social media user shared the video clip that Megan seemingly referenced, which featured the Grammy award winner dancing to Outkast’s “I Like The Way You Move” while rocking a t-shirt with R. Kelly’s face on it. It appears many felt the self proclaimed ‘Hot Girl Coach’ opted to take aim at Rihanna, due to her being dropped as a brand ambassador from her Fenty X Savage clothing brand back in 2022 amid her trial against Tory Lanez.
M3gan dissing Rihanna for dropping her from Fenty x Savage is so unserious. You dated 5 abvsers and thought she was gonna let you be the face of her brand????????? Be serious pic.twitter.com/jeEso55b4E

Later in the song, it seems Drake famously mentioning Megan in one of his songs last year was also addressed. In another line the musician rapped:
“All these lil rap n*ggas so fraud/ Xanax be they hardest bars/ These n*ggas hate on BBL’s but be walking around with the same scars”
It’s been speculated this line was a shot at the Canadian rapper who seemingly took a couple of disses at Megan last year. If you recall, Drake, real name Aubrey Graham, 37, had a line in one of his songs where he rapped:
“This b*tch lie ‘bout getting shot but she still a stallion / She don’t even get the joke but she still smiling.”
The play on words seemed to have referenced Megan’s high profile shooting case against Lanez, which Megan fans, known as The Hotties, took major offense to. It seems the rapper herself wasn’t fond of the lyric either, and responded in the booth as any respected rapper would. Despite the many other celebs who may have subtly been mentioned in the song, Megan’s apparent shots at her rap rival Nicki Minaj has certainly spurred the most attention across social media. Both Megan and Nicki, real name Onika Tanya Miraj have consistently been trending as the self proclaimed ‘Queen of Rap’ was the first to quickly issue a response.
Shortly after Megan’s song was released, Nicki took to her instagram live to play a snippet of a song where she rapped the line:
“Bad b*tch she like 6 foot, I call her big foot, the b*tch fell off I said get up on your good foot”
"Bad b*tch she like 6 foot, I call her big foot, the b*tch fell off I said get up on your good foot"?

The lyric once against referenced Megan’s case against Lanez, where he was found guilty of shooting her in the foot during an argument that took place back in the summer of 2020. Nicki pulled out the line due to Megan seemingly addressing her husband Kenneth Petty on the new single when she rapped:
“These hoes don’t be mad at Megan/ These hoes mad at Megan’s law”
As social media users quickly discovered, Megan’s Law is a real piece of US legislation that requires sex offender registration and information to be made public. It’s no secret that Nicki’s husband has battled his own sex offender registration complications that stem from an alleged rape and attempted murder charge that took place back in 1995. Petty was even briefly detained due to failing to register after moving to California from New York, though he has since appealed the charge.
Nicki took to her X account (formerly Twitter) to make it clear that she was in fact responding to Megan’s diss about her husband. The 41-year-old “Pink Friday” artist liked several tweets that explained Megan’s Law and defended her reason for responding.
“omg megan came for everybody!!! I wonder who’s gonna respond first?”

At this time it doesn’t appear Megan has responded any further. She did call into Charlamagne Tha God’s radio show “The Breakfast Club” earlier today, however, to make it clear that the disses are for “anyone who feels it”. She added:
“A hit dog gon’ holla”
A hit dog gon holla… and it sure did all night long after snorting a 8 ball ??? #Hiss pic.twitter.com/4NhNtlWCCF
