Bethenny Frankel Deletes Post Criticizing Kelly Rowland For Walking Off ‘Today Show’ Due To Dressing Room Conditions & Suggesting That If Jennifer Lopez Did Get The Better Room It’s Because She Deserved It More: ‘That’s Horse Racing Baby’

Reality star Bethenny Frankel is seemingly trying to erase her recent comments about Kelly Rowland.

After the “Real Housewives of New York” alum blasted the former Destiny’s Child member for having – in her opinion – “diva expectations,” the entrepreneur faced widespread backlash prompting her to remove the post.

Bethenny Frankel’s social media condemnation came following her reaction to recent reports about Kelly Rowland’s no-show on “The Today Show.” In case you’re unfamiliar, the famed singer/actress was reportedly tapped to guest host an episode of the daytime series alongside Hoda Kotb to promote her new Netflix film “Mea Culpa.”

At the last minute, however, reports state Rowland opted out of the appearance because she and her team were not happy with the dressing room conditions. Sources close to the matter claim that they were initially given a small space for the entertainer to get her hair and makeup done that was not equipped for her team. When they allegedly inquired about a bigger room, they were reportedly told the it had already been given to Jennifer Lopez, who was also there promoting her new album and film.

Once Frankel caught wind of the story, she made a post to her Tik Tok account stating that Rowland should’ve just been “honored” for the opportunity and compared the situation to her own experience as a guest on the show. She stated in the since-deleted video:

“I’ve co-hosted with Hoda [Kotb] and I’ve arrived there and the makeup area that you touch up in is often a drop cloth, like, a black drop off and then your dressing room is the size of a closet and you’re trying to fit all your people in the clown car. And you know what? You’re so excited. You’re so gracious.”

She added:

“You’re co-hosting on the ‘Today’ show, an institution in entertainment, a news organization that is not about fancy dressing rooms…And it’s an honor to be there and to sit down with Hoda [Kotb] and that was not the moment for diva expectations.”

Frankel made a subsequent post sharing her behind-the-scenes footage of when she appeared on the show. As a caption to the second video, which has also since been deleted, she insinuated that if it’s true that Lopez was given the best room then that was rightfully done. She wrote:

“Ps. If they gave @JLo the best room that’s because she is JLO and that’s horse racing baby…”

Social media users have since been sharing their thoughts on Frankel’s opinion, which have been overwhelmingly not in her favor. Many blasted the entrepreneur for even comparing herself to Rowland – a 5x Grammy Award-winning musician who was part of one of the best-selling girl groups of all time. Others slammed Frankel for attempting to shame Rowland for being upset about the working conditions when she recently advocated for the same thing during the Hollywood strike.

The backlash from the videos ultimately seemed too much for Frankel. As we mentioned earlier, she’s since deleted all the posts relating to her comments about Rowland. It does not appear that Rowland nor anyone from her team has reacted to all the press stories at this time.
