‘The Sopranos’ Star Drea De Matteo Says ‘OnlyFans Saved My Life’ While Sharing How The Adult Content Platform Prevented Her House From Foreclosing

Looks like creating an OnlyFans account can be a life-changing experience.

That certainly seems to be the case for TV star Drea De Matteo. The 52-year-old recently opened up about how the platform completely rescued her family from monetary disaster and nearly losing their home to foreclosure.

During a recent interview, The Sopranos actress recalled going through a hard time last year as her financial situation almost resulted in the repossession of her home. She stated:

“They put me into foreclosure and my house had flooded, so I was trying to sell the house quickly. I wanted to try and sell it before they took it,”

She continued:

“At the same time, I lost my mom, and my other mom, who has dementia, had run out of money for her caregiver. I didn’t know which way was up.”

Things drastically changed for the entertainer in August, however, after deciding to launch her OnlyFans account. Matteo claimed that within 5 minutes of signing up for the site, she had enough money to get the bank off her back and pay her mortgage, stating:

“It saved us. OnlyFans saved my life, 100 percent…I can’t believe I’m saying that, but it really did save us. Anybody that wants to condemn me and put me down, go for it. I just hope you never find yourself in the position I was in to take care of two little kids.”

Matteo shares her two kids, daughter Alabama and son Waylon, with her ex-fiancé Shooter Jennings. While it’s unclear whether or not her ex approves of her new venture, Matteo reportedly stated that she asked for her kids’ blessing before signing up for the explicit content platform. Her husband Robby Staebler was also supportive of her decision, and according to Matteo, initially planned to create content with her.

It seems after the couple saw what the actress could achieve on her own, however, they went in another direction. Matteo, best known for her role as Adriana La Cerva on The Sopranos, shared the money she continues to make charging her OF subscribers $15/month has been used to fund her clothing venture Ultrafree. She also said that despite what critics may think, she feels comfortable and confident when looking back at her photos, adding during her interview:

“For the most part like I look good, and the best part about it is I get to be heavier. I don’t look good in the pictures if I’m skinny. Before photo shoot, I get to eat and eat. I get to bulk up to look better…I’m just being an Italian lady in the world, eating spaghetti and pasta and steak,”
