Bobby Brown Says His Late Children Bobbi Kristina & Bobby Jr. Visit Him In His Dreams: ‘It Helps Me Out In A Big Way’
R&B singer Bobby Brown revealed that his late children are always with him, even when he closes his eyes.
The Grammy-winning “New Edition” member revealed that his daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, who died in 2015, and his son, Bobby Brown Jr., who died in 2020, visit him in his dreams. He said it’s a “recurring thing” that happens when he’s “asleep.”

During an interview with PEOPLE Magazine, Bobby Brown shared,
“I tend to dream about both of ’em, my son and my daughter, which is helpful for me. Just being able to see their faces and I see ’em smiling, it helps me out in a big way.”
As the father of five surviving children continues to grieve his late children’s deaths, the 55-year-old said he still goes to “see a therapist.”
“Just being able to talk about it definitely helps out. Also prayer always works. And staying busy. I try to keep myself as busy as possible, doing different things.”

The candid interview came after Bobby Brown recently hosted the “Bobbi Kristina Serenity House Gala: A Night of Inspiration, Empowerment, and Hope.” The event is put on every year to honor his late daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, with whom he shared with late platinum-selling singer and actress Whitney Houston.

Moreover, the singer-songwriter and dancer called the charity event, which raises funds for domestic violence centers, “a beautiful night, beautiful occasion.” Brown continued,
“It meant everything to me to see all the faces and see all the supporters that care about what we care about, because it’s getting rough out there for a lot of different people, and it’s just good to have support, to help try to eradicate domestic violence.”
In January 2015, Bobbi Kristina Brown was found unconscious in a bathtub in the home she shared with her ex, Nick Gordon.

After being in a coma for nearly six months, she died from lobar pneumonia at the age of 22, according to reports. Her cause of death was reported as a combination of drowning and drug intoxication.

Bobbi Kristina’s death was seemingly similar to her mother, Whitney Houston’s death.

According to multiple reports, the pop icon was found submerged in water in the bathtub of a hotel in Beverly Hills, California, in February 2012 with cocaine in her system. And cocaine wasn’t all the coroner found.

Traces of marijuana, the anxiety drug Xanax, the muscle relaxer Flexeril, and the antihistamine Benadryl also turned up in her system, but they did not contribute to her death. Whitney Houston’s death was ultimately ruled an accidental drowning combined with the effects of atherosclerotic heart disease and cocaine.

On the other hand, Brown’s son, Bobby Brown Jr., died of an accidental overdose.
