Faizon Love Defends Fellow Comedian Godfrey Danchimah Against ‘Hillbilly’, ‘Inaccurate’, & ‘Dumb’ Kountry Wayne Amid Their Feud: ‘He Don’t Know Godfrey’

Faizon Love is picking a side in Godfrey Danchimah and Kountry Wayne’s feud.

In the latest, comedian and actor Faizon Love defended Godfrey Danchimah against Kountry Wayne on Instagram, saying if he ever saw Kountry Wayne on a comedy stage, he’d “snatch” him off. He then added,

“Godfrey, he don’t know that you’ll fold this n*gga up like a napkin and throw him in the g*dd*mn Hudson River. He don’t know that. He think ‘cause you smiling…He don’t know Godfrey.”

Faizon Love blasted Wayne for being “goofy” before slamming the comedian once again.

“He’s a f***ing hillbilly. He just got electricity. F**k this n*gga. Kountry Wayne muthaf**ka. You inaccurate dumb stupid muthaf**ka.”

The beef between Godfrey Danchimah and Wayne started after Godfrey appeared on Shannon Sharpe’s podcast, “Club Shay Shay” on Wednesday (March 20). During that sit-down, the comedy legend praised Wayne’s comedic talents before he addressed Wayne’s remarks about comedy clubs that he made when he appeared on the same podcast a couple of months ago. Godfrey Danchimah claimed that Wayne,

“Was saying if you’re still in the comedy clubs, you’re not a real comedian. I think he said that. Am I wrong?”

Shannon Sharpe corrected Godfrey and said Wayne was, instead, talking about himself and not shading anyone else.

Wayne caught wind of the Soul Plane actor’s comments and blasted him in an Instagram video, stating that Godfrey and other comedians had been “hating on him for a long time.” He also quipped,

“Bruh, if you been in this game that long and that audience ain’t came to you yet, switch it up. Switch it up, my boy. It’s subject matter, and your subject just don’t matter.”

He later added,

“Keep my name out ya mouth, my boy, for real.”

Wayne then clarified what he actually told Shannon Sharpe versus what Godfrey insinuated.

“You up there talking about I said, ‘If you in a comedy club, you ain’t no real comedian.’ I didn’t say that. It was [a] comedian coming for me and I said he forced to go to a comedy club.”

Wayne has yet to respond to Faizon Love’s comments.
