Caitlin Clark’s New WNBA Jersey Becomes Top-Selling Ever 1 Day After She Was Drafted By Indiana Fever
Caitlin Clark is already breaking records less than 24 hours after being drafted by the WNBA.
The former Iowa basketball star, 22, was selected by the Indiana Fever as a No. 1 overall pick on Monday (April 15) and by Tuesday (April 16) her No. 22 Fever jersey reportedly became Fanatics’ top-selling for a draft pick ever, for any sport or league.
Caitlin Clark is no stranger to breaking records. She was saluted as the top scorer in men’s and women’s college basketball history.
It’s no wonder Ice Cube offered her a $5 million deal with his Big3 league.

Ice Cube, Caitlin Clark
Ice Cube formally confirmed news of an offer after speculation swirled recently. He wrote via X (formerly Twitter),
“We intended the offer to remain private while Caitlin Clark plays for the championship. But I won’t deny what’s now already out there: BIG3 made a historic offer to Caitlin Clark. Why wouldn’t we? Caitlin is a generational athlete who can achieve tremendous success in the BIG3.”
He continued,
“The skeptics laughed when we made Nancy Lieberman the first female coach of a men’s pro team, and she won the championship in her first year. Then Lisa Leslie won it all in year two. With our offer, Caitlin Clark can make history and break down even more barriers for women athletes.”

Caitlin Clark later said she heard about the offer with the rest of the world. She said ahead of her team’s Sweet Sixteen game against Colorado on Sunday, March 31, per CNN,
“To be honest, I found out about the Big3 thing at the exact time you all did, and my main focus is on just playing basketball.”
Adding,
“I honestly don’t talk about those things with really anybody. I have other people that deal with it, and they haven’t said a word to me about it. My main focus is on this team and helping us find a way to beat Colorado and hopefully win another one after that.”
She first announced on Instagram that she would be entering the draft in February.
