Keke Palmer Reportedly Being Eyed By Marvel Studios For Major Role
They don’t call her Keke “Keep A Bag” Palmer for nothing!
Rumors are swirling that Marvel Studios is considering the 30-year-old actress for a big role! At the time of this report, details on the speculated role are limited, however, internet users have already started weighing in with opinions that the part could be for the legendary character Storm. For those unaware, Ororo Munroe, famously known as Storm, is a powerful mutant who can control all forms of weather over vast areas.

Halle Berry, 57, has portrayed Storm numerous times in the “X-Men” films, first appearing as the superhero in 2000 and having her final run as the character in the 2014 film “X-Men: Days of Future Past.” For the 2016 and 2019 installments of the franchise actress Alexandra Shipp, 32, took over the role.

However, Disney’s acquisition of 20th Century Fox — which included “X-Men,” “Fantastic Four.” and “Deadpool” purportedly means it’s time to introduce a new face as the beloved character. For the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Keke Palmer is allegedly a frontrunner for the role. One report noted that Marvel Studios is also considering her for the role of Rogue.

Of course, things are very much still in the early stages and nothing has been confirmed yet. But, it may be safe to assume Keke Palmer won’t turn down Marvel should they come calling. In 2022, she shared pictures of herself dressed up as Rogue for Halloween.

That same year she also showed support to fans amid their call to cast her as a superhero in the near future.
