Tiffany Haddish Says Ex-Boyfriend Common Is The Only Celeb She’s Been ‘Entangled With’

Tiffany Haddish is very selective when it comes to her “entanglements.”

In preparation for the release of her new memoir “I Curse You With Joy,” which will be available on May 7, Tiffany Haddish has been opening up about a few unknown facts about her life. As we reported, she shared that not too long ago she celebrated six months of sobriety and celibacy! Elaborating more on things she’s realized amid her celibacy journey, the “Girls Trip” star recently added,

“You know what I noticed, when you don’t [have sex], it’s like men love you even more. They work even harder. Take you on trips. They be in love. They’re like, ‘I’ve never been in a relationship like this. It’s amazing!’ and I’m like ‘We in a relationship? I thought you were just taking me to eat.'”

Appearing to speak more specifically on the famous men she’s had sex with before, Tiffany Haddish said,

“The only celebrity I’ve entangled with, it was two years of him chasing me down before I finally was like, ‘Okay, let’s do something.’ That was top of 2020, but we met at the beginning of 2018, 2017.”

Given the timeline, it’s pretty evident Haddish was referring to her ex-boyfriend, rapper and actor Common, real name Lonnie Lynn. Following their breakup, which Haddish previously shared “wasn’t mutual” and she was dumped over the phone, Common started dating his now-girlfriend Jennifer Hudson.

Haddish has yet to go public with another Hollywood star, however, in 2019 she did claim to have once hooked up with rapper Chingy. The “Right Thurr” artist denied her claims, saying at the time,

“I’mma tell the truth, she used to hook up with my brother, not me but she liked me. Hey, if we gone be honest let’s be honest”

Speaking on Common’s dating pattern during her recent interview, Haddish added,

“It’s every two years. It’s like six to nine months single and then two years on [in a relationship] and then six to nine months single and then two years on. That’s his schedule. That’s his cycle. I ain’t mad at that. There’s a gang of old *ss men that’s not famous that’s doing the same thing.”
