Tyrese Lands In Kuwait After Abruptly Ending Georgia Concert Mid-Song To Avoid Being Served w/ Legal Papers
Tyrese has left the country after someone allegedly tried to serve with him with court documents in Georgia. In a video circulating the internet, the “Sweet Lady” singer abruptly ended his show at Stockbridge Amphitheater in Georgia while performing his 2003 hit, “How You Gonna Act Like That.”
In the clip, Tyrese’s security guard is seen leaning in and whispering something in the singer’s ear. The star quickly leaps off the stage without missing a beat or a note.
He’s then heard saying,
“I’m coming out this b*tch.”
He also followed up by simply belting out
“I gave them my time y’all.”

Insiders told TMZ that Tyrese had three songs left in his set to perform.
As the video made its rounds online, fans began to speculate that the Transformers star received word that someone was there to serve him papers for an ongoing legal battle.
Filmmaker Bryan Barber is said to have had a process server present to officially serve Tyrese in his defamation and libel lawsuit against the R&B crooner. Bryan Barber is suing the star for $10 million over an interview Tyrese gave The Breakfast Club in September 2023. At the time, Tyrese claimed that he paid Bryan Barber for a project, however, Barber is allegedly keeping footage from him.
In legal papers, Barber claimed that the Baby Boy actor attacked his “character and reputation.”
This is just the latest lawsuit against the Fast & Furious star. Tyrese is also being sued by his ex-wife, Norma Gibson for defamation, and is facing a $25,000 lawsuit from an Airbnb owner who claims Tyrese damaged his rental.
Tyrese has yet to speak on potentially being served by Barber, however, he posted footage of the concert and said it was dedicated to his late mother, Priscilla Gibson.
