Keke Palmer Shocks Fans By Debuting Her Girl Group Diva Gurl
Keke Palmer is playing the game of life by her own rules!
On Tuesday (June 11) the well-respected, highly successful actress revealed she’s now in a girl music group. The name of the foursome is Diva Gurl and the ladies are set to release their first single on June 21. Keke Palmer, 30, wrote under a picture of herself looking stunning next to her group members,
“Pre-Save our 1st single #SOB today! Prepare to be slayed on June 21st #DivaGurl”

Based on the bio for Diva Gurl’s IG page, Keke Palmer will be going by her middle name Keyana for all things concerning her latest singing venture. The bio lists the other members as LaShaè, Sadè, and Monèt.

The announcement of Keke’s group follows the Nope star and her Big Bosses Entertainment imprint inking a deal with the SRG-ILS Group, which is distributed by Universal Music’s Virgin Music Group. According to reports, her first release under the new partnership is set to drop early this summer, which happens to align with the debut of Diva Gurl’s single “S.O.B.”

Keke’s fans have flooded her IG comments with reactions to her group, with many seemingly shocked by the news but also excited. One person wrote,
“Um… I’m sat. I’m confused. But, I’m seated.”

Another asked,
“Keke….what is this? Who are these women? Since when have you been in a girl group? “
