Porsha Williams’ Estranged Husband Simon Guobadia Wants Her Held In Contempt, Claims She’s ‘Intentionally’ Withholding Financial Records
Simon Guobadia is taking more legal action against his estranged wife Porsha Williams.
The businessman filed a motion against the reality TV star, seeking to hold her in contempt as she’s allegedly been “willfully” withholding mandated financial records in their ongoing divorce.

A report from RadarOnline states that Simon Guobadia submitted the court filing recently, accusing his former spouse Porsha Williams of “intentionally” breaking the law by refusing to hand over financial documents the court ordered her to produce. His lawyers wrote in the motion:
“To date, the Wife has willfully and intentionally violated this Court’s February 22, 2024 Standing Order by refusing to turn over her mandatory discovery pursuant to the Fulton County Rules.”

They additionally claim that due to Porsha Williams‘ “lack of respect” for the court order, the production company behind The Real Housewives of Atlanta, True Entertainment, LLC, is also being uncooperative, adding in the complaint:
“On April 23, 2024, the Wife filed Petitioner’s Objection to and Motion to Quash Respondent’s Subpoena to True Entertainment, LLC (attached as Exhibit F) in order to prevent the Respondent from obtaining Wife’s financial records and information which are relevant to the determination of the enforceability of the parties’ prenuptial agreement at issue,”
As previously covered, Simon Guobadia has been attempting to secure Porsha Williams’ financial documents for some time, claiming that a deal she signed shortly before their divorce drastically changed the terms of their prenup. In case you’re unfamiliar, the two have been going back and forth about the validity of the pre-marriage agreement, which will ultimately decide who retains their marital home and spousal support, among other things.

In the latest motion, Guobadia claims that Williams signed a “multi-million” dollar deal with NBCUniversal Entertainment in the days before she filed for divorce, and argues that he needs to see every document related to her contract, finances, and conversations with RHOA producers to prove that she no longer needs his money. However, Guobadia says his efforts have been purposefully and illegally stunted by Williams‘ alleged refusal to cooperate.

The Nigerian native wants the court to hold Williams in contempt over the matter, sanction her, and order her to cover his attorney fees. Another report from RadarOnline states that Guobadia also wants the court to order Williams to sit for a deposition on July 3rd at 10 am, writing that the session will be for the:
“preservation of evidence, discovery purposes, and any and all uses allowed by law.”

It has not been reported that a judge has ruled on the matter at this time.
