Jeezy Seemingly Addresses Jeannie Mai Divorce On JT’s ‘Okay’ Remix: ‘You Dropped The Ball, Baby’

Hip-hop veteran Jeezy  had some things to get off his chest.

The rapper seemingly mentioned drama surrounding his divorce from Jeannie Mai on his latest feature, making it clear that he’s a proudly single man.

Jeezy lended his vocals to the remix of JT’s Billboard charting single “Okay” when he referenced several things that happened during his messy divorce from Jeannie Mai. As you may know, the two officially split back in September of last year citing “irreconcilable differences.” Boasting about his return official return to the dating market, Jeezy rapped:

“Summer ’24, I’m single as a dollar bill,”

Continuing, the musician also appeared to offer a response to reports that Jeannie Mai accused him endangering their daughter by having guns in their shared home, spitting the line:

“Why you got choppas in the house? ‘Cause I’m a n**ga still,”

As we’ve previously covered, Jeezy and Jeannie Mai’s separation has been playing out tensely over the past several months. At one point, reports claimed that in an attempt to establish herself as primary care giver of their young daughter Monaco, Mai allegedly told the courts that she was afraid for the child’s well being, claiming Jeezy kept unsecured guns throughout their shared home prior to their break-up.

Jeezy vehemently denied the claims, and the two reportedly battled it out before ultimately settling on a child care arrangement in their finalized agreement from earlier this month. Though things have been mostly quiet between the exes as of late, Jeezy used another line in his feature to make it clear that he believes Jeannie is the one who lost big time from their split, quipping:

“Ever lost a real one? You dropped the ball, baby,”

It does not appear that Mai has reacted to the song publicly at this time.
