42 Dugg shared that his ultimate goal is to find happiness and contentment with his family:
“Just being happy with my family, man. Get all my homeboys out of jail, man. Just having fun, man … making good music.”
However, in a surprising twist, the Detroit native revealed he’s ready to retire from rap and move to France:
“I really want to quit. I’m ready to quit!”
He continued,
“When I get me some real money, man, I’m gone. F*** that, too stressful … I just don’t want rap to be my main thing—Jay-Z type s*** … I’m moving to France.”

It seems 42 Dugg is on his way to achieving his dream retirement after making significant strides in recent years.
The rapper began writing lyrics while serving time in prison for carjacking and felony arms possession in 2017. He started releasing music after his release in 2018, with his breakthrough coming from a feature on Lil Baby’s hit track, We Paid.

Dugg then capitalized on that success with his 2021 mixtape Free Dem Boyz, which reached No. 8 on the Billboard 200.
His debut album, 4eva Us Neva Them, which features artists like Meek Mill, Sexyy Red, EST Gee, Jeezy, and Lil Baby, was released earlier this month.
