Rihanna Reportedly Making Major Comeback w/ New Album & World Tour In 2025
Rihanna’s comeback is shaping up to be legendary.
The 36-year-old singer, who has been focusing on her flourishing business ventures and growing family, is reportedly finalizing her ninth album, which has fans on the edge of their seats.
Sources informed media outlets that the new album will blend various genres and feature collaborations with a range of artists. Although the exact release date is still under wraps, it’s expected to drop sometime in 2025.

In addition to the album, Rihanna is reportedly gearing up for a major world tour and is also in talks for a headline performance at the Glastonbury Festival.
In June, at the launch of her Fenty Hair line, Rihanna discussed her new era, revealing that she’s “starting over” on the album. She noted that she’s “prepared to go back in the studio” after initially putting the project on hold.

She explained,
“Music for me is a new discovery. I’m prepared to go back in the studio. I’m gonna start. I don’t want to neglect the songs I [already] have, so I want to go back and listen to stuff with new ears, with my new perspective, and then see what applies.”
The decision to start over followed her playful outfit featuring a shirt with the phrase “I’m Retired,” which sparked confusion among fans who feared she might be stepping away from music.

Rihanna’s last album, Anti, released in 2016, featured hits like Work (featuring Drake), Kiss It Better, Needed Me, and Love on the Brain, earning her widespread acclaim and a Grammy nomination for Best Urban Contemporary Album.

Since the release of Anti, Rihanna’s net worth has surged with the success of her Fenty Beauty line, Savage X Fenty, and Fenty Skin, making her the richest female musician and the second-richest female entertainer globally.
On the personal front, Rihanna welcomed her first child with A$AP Rocky in 2022, followed by their second in 2023.

With her last album and tour dating back to 2016, fans are eagerly anticipating her return to the stage.
