Former President Obama Jokes About Trump’s Obsession w/ ‘Crowd Sizes,’ Social Media Suggests Joke Was About Trump’s Manhood

Barack Obama is poking fun at Donald Trump’s fixation on his size—specifically, the size of his crowds.

The former president took the stage in Chicago, Illinois, during the second night of the Democratic National Convention, where one moment in particular surprised everyone.

While discussing former president and GOP candidate Donald Trump’s shortcomings, Barack Obama highlighted Trump’s fixation on crowd sizes, saying,

“Here’s a 78-year-old billionaire who has not stopped whining about his problems since he rolled down his golden escalator 9 years ago. It’s been a constant stream of gripes and grievances that’s actually been getting worse, now that he’s afraid of losing to Kamala.”

He continued,

“There are the childish nicknames, the crazy conspiracy theories, and this weird obsession with crowd sizes.”

While reciting “crowd sizes,” Barack Obama mimicked an accordion-like hand gesture to illustrate how big or small something could be.

Many social media users speculate that Obama’s reference to “crowd sizes” carries a double meaning, alluding not only to rally crowds but also to Donald Trump’s manhood.

One X user commented,

“He told the world why Dinky Donald is sensitive about size.”

Another X user wrote,

“He knew exactly what he was doing with that gesture.”

Whether Obama was referring to Trump’s manhood or not, it’s clear that Trump has been fixated on crowd sizes for years. Recently, he compared his attendance numbers to those of the legendary civil rights activist Martin Luther King:

“I’ve spoken to the biggest crowds. Nobody’s spoken to crowds bigger than me….If you look at Martin Luther King, when he did his speech, his great speech, and you look at ours, same real estate, same everything, the same number of people, if not, we had more.”
