Viral TikTok Series ‘Who TF Did I Marry?’ TV Show In The Works, Natasha Rothwell To Star & Produce
Sometimes sharing details about your crazy life online can lead to a TV series.
Earlier this year everyday person-turned-overnight sensation Tareasa “Reesa Teesa” Johnson uploaded a 52-part series on TikTok titled Who TF Did I Marry? The storytime quickly caught the attention of countless people worldwide, bringing in millions of views for every single video uploaded in the series. During the videos, Reesa Teesa went into detail about how she unknowingly married a man who lied to her about everything he ever claimed to be true, including what he did for a living, his family, friends, and finances.

As the viral series grew in popularity many called for a film or TV series to be created around what Reesa Teesa shared. Fast forward to today, and those wishing for more from Reesa Teesa have been granted their wish. Beloved Insecure star Natasha Rothwell (who played Kelli Prenny in the hit Issa Rae show) is developing a TV adaptation of Who TF Did I Marry? In addition to serving as an executive producer, Natasha Rothwell will also star in the project as Reesa Teesa.
Speaking about the exciting news, Reesa Teesa said on Instagram,
“It’s official baby!!!! I’m so freakin excited about this. I know choosing to work with @natasharothwell is the best decision. I cannot wait for us to bring this experience to life. LFG!!!!”

This big announcement comes ahead of the premiere of Natasha Rothwell’s Hulu series How to Die Alone, set to air on Sept. 13.
