Singer JoJo Seemingly Details ‘Cold’ Interaction w/ Christina Aguilera: ‘I Never Want To Make Anybody Feel That Way’

JoJo is revealing a lesson she learned after meeting a famous singer, who is allegedly Christina Aguilera. 

The “Get Out” singer first detailed the interaction she had with the anonymous crooner in her memoir Over the Influence. She recalled meeting themon MTV’s Total Request Live and described the encounter as “cold.”

She didn’t name-drop the fellow artist she met, however, she hinted that she and the person sang together on a soundtrack. Fans pieced together that she was likely talking about the “Genie in a Bottle” singer, as they were both on the Shark Tale soundtrack in 2004.

She was asked about the incident while on SiriusXM’s TikTok Radio. The host pointed out that Christina Aguilera was also on the Shark Tale soundtrack, and that she and JoJo once appeared on TRL together. When asked what she wanted to say about it, JoJo did not deny that she was referencing Christina Aguilera. Instead, she said,

“Feeling the way that this person made me feel taught me that I just never want to make anybody feel that way.”

She continued,

“There’s no hate in my heart towards this person. Nor is this a surprise I suppose, with other stories that we’ve heard.”
