Trailer For ‘Sinners’ Ryan Coogler & Michael B. Jordan’s Southern Vampire Film Drops, Public Reacts
Are you ready for the next project from actor Michael B. Jordan and filmmaker Ryan Coogler?
As previously reported, Hollywood has been buzzing with excitement since news broke that Michael B. Jordan and Ryan Coogler teamed up again for a new project. The highly anticipated forthcoming film even sparked a bidding war between major production studios, which Warner Bros. ultimately won.
Details surrounding the project were kept under wraps but it was speculated that it centered around Black vampires. Yesterday (Sep. 23), the film’s title, Sinners, was revealed, and today the trailer dropped, seemingly confirming the plot does in fact include vampires!
The synopsis for the film reads: “Trying to leave their troubled lives behind, twin brothers (portrayed by Michael B. Jordan) return to their hometown to start again, only to discover that an even greater evil is waiting to welcome them back.”
In addition to Jordan, the project also stars Hailee Steinfeld, Jack O’Connell, Wunmi Mosaku, Jayme Lawson, Omar Benson Miller and Delroy Lindo. Ryan Coogler wrote and directed the movie. The trailer has only been live for a few hours but it already has the public going wild! One X user wrote,
“Coogler and Michael B Jordan are undefeated together”

Another added,
“Look I like Black Panther and I’m happy Ryan Coogler secured the bag for the past decade… but I’m happy we finally get Coogler to have an absolute swing at it. Like Michael B. Jordan as twins fighting vampires in the 1930s all captured in IMAX 70mm. I need #SinnersMovie ASAP.”

Jordan and Coogler have a history of making box office hits together. Their collaborations include films such as Fruitvale Station (2013), Black Panther (2018), and Creed (2015). Sinners is scheduled to hit theaters on March 7, 2025. See what else people are saying about the highly anticipated project below:
