Dwyane Wade’s Reaction To His Statue Unveiling Goes Viral: ‘He Wanted To Love It, He Really Did’

Dwyane Wade‘s statue unveiling has gone viral, with fans questioning his seemingly subdued reaction.

As the first Miami Heat player to receive a statue outside the team’s arena, Dwyane Wade approached the statue, silently eyeing it up and down, which led to mixed feelings among fans on X (formerly Twitter).

One user wrote,

“With all this technology, they still manage to come up short. Who the hell is this?!”

Another commented,

“The way he kept circling that thing broke my heart. He wanted to love it. He really did.”

The statue was unveiled on Sunday, October 27, eight months after team president Pat Riley announced the tribute, honoring Wade as Miami’s all-time leading scorer and one of only two players to be part of all three Heat championship teams.
