Young Thug Given 10-Year Ban From Atlanta After Probation Release, Father Responds: ‘I Am Totally Against That’

Young Thug, born Jeffrey Williams, has accepted a plea deal with terms including a 10-year ban from Atlanta, five years in prison reduced to time served, and 15 years of probation. If he violates probation, he faces a potential 20-year prison sentence.

His father, Jeffrey Williams Sr., expressed strong disapproval, stating,

“I am totally against that…to see her…take a man away from where he’s from…that’s offensive to me.”

He continued,

“And to have… a district attorney take that away from him that isn’t a residence fom here. She’s from another state… and to see her… take a man away from where he’s from, to have to go live somewhere else, that’s offensive to me.”

The probation includes additional restrictions for Young Thug as he must abstain from firearms, maintain distance from his co-defendants (except Gunna and his brother), submit to regular drug testing, and avoid gang-related content in his music.

He may only return to Atlanta for community service initiatives focused on anti-gang and anti-violence education. Travel is limited strictly to business-related trips. These measures aim to support rehabilitation while distancing him from previous affiliations.

However, some folks feel like he is walking away with a slap on the wrist. Do you agree? Comment below!??
