Megan Thee Stallion’s Producer Addresses Plies’ Copyright Infringement Lawsuit
Megan Thee Stallion‘s producer Lil Ju Made Da Beat is setting the record straight after Plies sued the “Savage” rapper for copyright infringement.
We previously reported that Plies sued Megan Thee Stallion and GloRilla over their hit “Wanna Be,” claiming that it rips from his 2008 single “Me & My Goons.” He also named Cardi B in the lawsuit since she hopped on the remix, and Soulja Boy, alleging that he was the first to steal the song for his 2010 single “Pretty Boy Swag.”
Lil Ju Made Da Beat took to X (formerly Twitter) to address the lawsuit, stating that “Pretty Boy Swag” is actually a remake of “My Dougie”, which was released in 2006, two years before Plies’ song.

Do you think he has a point? Comment and let us know.
