Nancy Pelosi Files Paperwork For Potential 2026 Congressional Run

Nancy Pelosi Files Paperwork For Potential 2026 Congressional Run
Nancy Pelosi has filed paperwork to run for another term in Congress in the 2026 midterm elections, though it’s unclear if she will actually campaign.
The filing, a “Statement of Candidacy,” is a legal requirement triggered when a campaign raises or spends more than $5,000.
Despite speculation, a spokesperson emphasized it was a routine step. At 84, Nancy Pelosi, who played a key role in shaping Democratic strategy during the Donald Trump era and President Biden’s 2020 race, remains a powerful figure.
She won her most recent reelection with 81% of the vote and is expected to serve a 20th term starting next year.
Y’all here for Nancy sticking around a little longer?
