John Stamos Draws Backlash For Wearing Bald Cap In ‘Solidarity’ w/ ‘Full House’ Co-Star Dave Coulier After Cancer Diagnosis

John Stamos’ bald cap for cancer gesture isn’t getting the most positive feedback online.

Social media users have been criticizing the actor for posting a photo of himself wearing a bald cap “in solidarity” with his “Full House” co-star Dave Coulier, who recently revealed his stage 3 non-Hodgkin lymphoma cancer diagnosis.

Stamos wrote as a caption to the images:

“Nothing like throwing on a bald cap and flexing some Photoshop skills to show some love and solidarity with my bro @dcoulier You’re handling this with so much strength and positivity—it’s inspiring. I know you’re going to get through this, and I’m proud to stand with you every step of the way. I love you”

Though some defended Stamos, critics suggested the moment seemed shallow and insincere.

Coulier is undergoing chemotherapy treatment and has stated he’s in the 90% “curable” range, according to TMZ.
