Yvette Nicole Brown Marries Anthony Davis At 53, Says ‘It’s Never Too Late’

Yvette Nicole Brown tied the knot!

The 53-year-old actress married actor Anthony Davis on Dec. 14 at The Maybourne Beverly Hills in Los Angeles. She was escorted down the aisle by her brother and surprised by the attendance of her father, who has Alzheimer’s, thanks to arrangements made with his care facility.

Wearing a custom Ines DiSanto gown adorned with butterflies in honor of her and Davis’ late mothers, Brown enjoyed a heartfelt reception with performances by Leslie Odom Jr. and Deniece Williams.

Reflecting on her journey, Brown told PEOPLE,

“I never thought it would happen for me… my wedding can be an inspirational moment. It’s never too late.”

She added,

“When it’s the right person, there’s no chaos. There’s no confusion.”
