Trump supporters hoping to catch the inauguration festivities indoors at DC’s Capital One Arena faced a tough decision on Monday (Jan. 20).

Due to strict security protocols, attendees were required to ditch their purses on the sidewalk before entering the venue. Some high-end handbags, left behind by their owners, were seen scattered along the street.
