Rep. Jasmine Crockett Calls Trump A ‘Thug,’ & Warns ‘If We Don’t Wake Up, We Might Not Have A United States’
Rep. Jasmine Crockett isn’t holding back when it comes to President Donald Trump.
During a segment on MSNBC, the Texas congresswoman sounded the alarm about Trump’s actions since returning to office.
Crockett said,
“The problem is that Americans thought it was okay to take a full-fledged criminal and make him the President of the United States, and then they want to act aghast when he does criminal things. Let me tell you, we have a thug in charge of the United States, and if we don’t wake up we may not have a United States.”

Crockett’s comments come amid widespread backlash to Trump’s recent actions, including enacting and then reportedly rescinding a federal funding freeze, ordering mass deportations, attempting to overhaul birthright citizenship, pardoning hundreds involved in the Capitol riots, commuting sentences for members of the Oath Keepers and Proud Boys, and directing officials to rename the Gulf of Mexico to the “Gulf of America.”
