Prince’s Estate & Netflix Have Finally Reached A Deal For His Documentary
After years of speculation and negotiations, Prince’s estate and Netflix have reached a deal to produce a documentary about the legendary musician. That means the original Netflix production has been scrapped to make way for a brand new documentary about the late singer.
The project, which has been in the works for some time, will explore Prince’s life, music, and impact on pop culture. The deal marks a significant milestone for fans, who have long awaited a comprehensive look into the private and public life of the enigmatic artist.
The documentary is expected to feature never-before-seen footage, personal archives, and interviews with those closest to him.
This collaboration first hit roadblocks when Prince’s estate refused to clear it, claiming Netflix’s nine hour watch time for the doc violated their original terms.
It’s unclear how long the new production will be, but at least there is some progress!
Prince fans, will y’all tune in?
