A$AP Rocky Chooses Not To Testify In Felony A$$ault Trial
A$AP Rocky has decided not to take the stand in his trial.
When asked by the judge if he had discussed the decision with his lawyers, Rocky confirmed and stated,
“I want my right to not testify.”
His attorney, Joe Tacopina, previously said Rocky was “eager to tell his story,” but testifying could open him up to intense cross-examination from the prosecution.

Rocky is facing two felony counts of a$$ault with a semiautomatic f*rearm for allegedly firing a g*n at his former friend, A$AP Relli, during a 2021 altercation in Hollywood. If convicted, he faces up to 24 years in prison. However, there have been reports of the prosecution only going for 9 years if a guilty verdict is given.
