Sha EK was previously in the news in 2022 when he, along with Ron Suno and 22Gz, were removed from the Rolling Loud New York festival, reportedly at the NYPD’s request.
This occurred just a day before the event, despite Sha’s manager, Stanley “Noodles” Davis, arguing that his client had not been charged with any crimes. He criticized the police for associating the artist with violence, stating that Sha EK was focused on his career and family.
Meanwhile, Ron Suno’s manager questioned the decision, pointing out that Suno had no criminal record or gang ties.
