Druski Speaks On Relationship w/ Rubi Rose, Says They Only Dated ‘A Couple Of Weeks’ & Went Public Too Soon

Druski is opening up about his relationship and breakup with Rubi Rose.

During an appearance on The Breakfast Club that aired today (Feb. 14), the comedian confirmed that his brief romance with the model and rapper last spring was 100% real—despite Rubi previously claiming in September that it was just a PR stunt. ? Her remarks prompted Druski to post a meme of himself as Nick Cannon in “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” to his Instagram Story in response.

However, Druski explained in the interview that their relationship came about “naturally,” as they had known each other for years and moved in the same social circles. He went on to take responsibility for their split, admitting:

“It might’ve just been my fault. There were some things that transpired in the midst of all the… you know, all that bullsh*t, man.”

When DJ Envy asked if he cried after the breakup, Druski quickly shut it down, saying:

“Nah, we wasn’t in that deep… It wasn’t love. It wasn’t at that point yet.”

He also revealed that they went public after only a few weeks of dating because he figured the news would leak anyway. In hindsight, he admitted they probably went Instagram official a little too soon.
