Dame Dash Loses Legal Team While Facing $4 Million Defamation Lawsuit & Preparing For Bankruptcy
Dame Dash’s legal troubles just got worse.
The businessman now has to search for new representation as his former team of lawyers dropped him from his ongoing lawsuit with film director Josh Webber. According to AllHipHop, the legal team submitted a letter to the U.S. District Court on April 28, citing Dash’s refusal to cooperate, particularly his failure to share court-ordered assets.

Dash reportedly told his ex-attorneys that “responding would be futile” and suggested everyone “wait for the bankruptcy process.” However, his team grew frustrated with the lack of communication and his unwillingness to comply, leading them to withdraw.
Dash has not filed for bankruptcy yet, but he has a 30-day window to find new lawyers and begin the process. The defamation lawsuit has now grown to $4 million due to Dame Dash’s disparaging comments about Josh Webber in 2024.
