Deaths Of Twin Brothers Found On Georgia Mountain Ruled Double Suicide, Investigators Say They Searched Suicide Topics Days Before Incident
Qaadir Lewis and Naazir Lewis, 19-year-old twin brothers from Lawrenceville, Georgia, were found de@d from gunshot wounds at the top of Bell Mountain in March. Now, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation has officially ruled their deaths a double suicide.
The GBI says hikers discovered the brothers on March 8. Investigators later found that Naazir had purchased ammunition days earlier, and both teens had searched online for topics related to suicide.
However, the ruling hasn’t settled things for the Lewis family, who questioned early on whether the twins would ever take their own lives.

Their uncle, Rahim Brawner, told reporters back in March,
“They’re very protective of each other. They love each other. They’re, like, inseparable. I couldn’t imagine them hurting each other.”
Aunt Yasmine Brawner also said at the time,
“We know them. They wouldn’t do anything like this. To say they did this to each other? No. Something happened in those mountains, and we want answers.”
