Latto recently uploaded a TikTok about her new Complex interview, which included a snippet of her new track, “Somebody.”
Trolls quickly swarmed the comment section, urging Latto to put Nicki Minaj on the remix. Seeing the persistence, Latto told one fan, “Ok.”

The feud between then began in 2022 after Nicki Minaj voiced frustration that her hit “Super Freaky Girl” was placed in the Best Pop Solo Performance category instead of a hip-hop category at the Grammys. Nicki Minaj then brought Latto into the discussion, arguing that if her song wasn’t considered rap, then Latto’s “Big Energy”—also produced by Dr. Luke—shouldn’t qualify either. This sparked tension between the two and a nasty back-and-forth online.
