Diddy’s Mother Refused To ‘Celebrate’ After He Was Found Not Guilty Of Major Charges In S*x Trafficking Case: ‘It’s Not Over Yet’

Sean “Diddy” Combs’ mother, Janice Combs, had a noticeably different reaction than the rest of the family after her son was cleared of the most serious charges in his s*x trafficking trial, charges that could have sent him to prison for life.

According to Daily Mail, which spoke with Janice shortly after the verdict was read, she wasn’t in a celebratory mood. Despite the relief of dodging the major charges, Diddy is still facing two lesser prostitution-related convictions, which could carry up to 20 years behind bars.

While Diddy and his children were reportedly overjoyed by the outcome, Janice remained calm and composed. When asked how she felt about the verdict, she told reporters:

“It hasn’t been easy and it’s not over yet. We’re not making any plans (for a celebration) because it’s too soon.”

The report notes she only showed a hint of relief while embracing her sister.

Many had expected that Diddy would be released on bail after being acquitted of the s*x trafficking and RICO charges. In the courtroom, the music mogul was reportedly seen mouthing, “I’m coming home,” with his son Christian echoing the same hope outside the courthouse.

But Janice’s instincts proved right. A judge ultimately denied Diddy bail, ordering him to remain in custody until his sentencing in October. His legal team has already signaled plans to appeal the decision.

Still, Janice says she’s staying grounded in faith and blocking out the noise. “I put all my faith in God. He’s the only one,” she said.

“The rest of it is just noise and doesn’t have anything to do with me. Thank you for asking, I appreciate it.”

What are your thoughts on Janice’s reaction to Diddy’s verdict?
