Late TV Host Ananda Lewis’ Ex Speaks Out Following Her Passing, Says Their 14-Year-Old Son Has Been ‘Strong’ & ‘Poised’ Through ‘Catastrophic Loss’
Harry Smith, brother of Will Smith, is speaking out after the heartbreaking loss of his ex and mother of his son, TV host Ananda Lewis.
In a heartfelt post, Harry reflected on the “catastrophic loss” of Ananda’s passing and the deep impact it has had on their 14-year-old son, Langston.

Harry shared that while their son is experiencing unimaginable pain, having been close to his mother, Langston has remained
“strong, poised, and somehow has maintained the open and kind heart that Ananda and I were blessed to nurture and witness for so many years.”
As previously reported, Ananda sadly passed away earlier this month following a battle with stage 4 breast cancer. In the tribute, Harry included his favorite photo of Ananda, taken during her home birth, and expressed his gratitude for the outpouring of love and well wishes. He added that he and Langston are “moving forward” with optimism and faith, trusting in God as they adjust to this new reality.
We continue to keep Ananda’s loved ones in our thoughts and prayers.
