Russell Simmons Fires Back After Kimora Lee Says She Doesn’t Have Relationships With Her Kids’ Fathers, Claims He Paid Her $50K a Month for 20 Years
Shortly after a People exclusive circulated in which Kimora said she doesn’t maintain relationships with her kids’ fathers, calling men “weird,” Russell took to social media with a lengthy and emotional response, claiming there’s far more to the story.
In his post, Russell alleged that he gave Kimora $50,000 a month for 20 years, saying he was her “best/only friend” during that time. He also claimed he served as the godfather to her other three children — until, according to him, their relationship fractured.
Russell went on to accuse Kimora of stealing his stock, saying he’s been fighting ever since for “my kids’ love and my bread.” He further claimed that he was threatened and warned that if he ever sued her, he would “never speak to my kids again.”
Ending his message, Russell stressed that the public is only hearing one perspective, writing, “There are two sides to every story.” Kimora has not publicly responded to his claims, and her People interview did not address Russell’s allegations.
