The former president has unveiled his 2025 Favorites List, once again highlighting the music, movies, and books that stood out to him over the past year. As fans have come to expect, #Obama’s annual roundup blends mainstream hits with buzzy creative standouts, and this year’s picks quickly sparked conversation online.

On the music side, #Gunna, Olivia Dean, #KendricLamar & SZA, Olamidé, and #LadyGaga were among the artists who earned a nod. Michelle Obama also made the list in the Favorite Books category for The Look, which she released last month. When it comes to film, Obama shouted out #Sinners, One Battle After Another, and Good Fortune as some of his standout watches of the year.
