The Game Honors His Mom While Giving Away Xboxes to Kids in Compton
The Game is starting the new year by giving back — and reflecting on how his mother’s sacrifices shaped the man he is today.
In an emotional Instagram post shared on January 1, 2026, The Game revealed that he woke up feeling compelled to head to Compton and give away Xbox consoles to random kids in his city. The gesture, he explained, was inspired by memories from his own childhood.
“I can remember how hard my mama worked at the post office overnight & even cooking food at home n taking it up to her job selling it to her co-workers just to be able to buy me a Nintendo on the 1st day it dropped,” he wrote. He added that the excitement was overwhelming, saying he remembered “not being able to breathe” because he was so happy.
The Game went on to credit his mother’s dedication to parenting for shaping him both personally and as a father. “I love my mama & her dedication to parenting is what made me the father/person I am today,” he shared.
He closed the heartfelt message with a powerful note of gratitude: “January 1st 2026… Mama yo son made it, thank you. Sincerely, Lynette’s son.”
