[UPDATE] Gospel Singer Donnie McClurkin Speaks Out After Being Accused Of S3xually Abu$ing Ex-Assistant In Bombshell Lawsuit, Calls Allegations ‘Contrived & Untrue’
Donnie McClurkin is urging the public to “exercise patience” as his legal matters unfold.
The Grammy-winning gospel singer and pastor addressed the serious s3xual a$$ault allegations against him, calling them “contrived and untrue.” According to a civil lawsuit filed in New York, #McClurkin is accused of s3xually abu$ing his former personal assistant, Giuseppe Corletto, over several years, starting after they met in 2003 when Corletto sought guidance on his sexuality and faith. The complaint alleges the abu$e occurred during so-called “pray the gay away” spiritual sessions.
In his statement, McClurkin said, “I understand the weight of such false claims…True Survivors deserve to be heard, protected, and supported! At the same time, the TRUTH matters! And the TRUTH has not been told!” He added, “I ask that this community exercise patience and trust in God’s timing for the truth to fully come to light. …I will be vindicated.”
