Billie Eilish Calls For ‘Fellow Celebrities’ To ‘Speak Up’ About ICE Shootings
#BillieEilish is urging fellow stars to use their platforms to speak out about recent shootings involving ICE agents.
The pop star took to Instagram early Monday (Jan. 26) with a message asking her peers, “Hey my fellow celebrities u gonna speak up?” – challenging Hollywood’s silence on the issue as public criticism of ICE grows.
Her post follows two fatal incidents involving federal agents in #Minneapolis, the shooting de@ths of ICU nurse #AlexPretti and mother #RenéeGood. Both incidents, along with the de@th of Keith Porter Jr., a Black father of two who was reportedly shot and k!lled by an off-duty ICE agent in Los Angeles on New Year’s Eve, have sparked nationwide protests.
