Cam Newton Says ‘Women’s Value Get Lower’ As They Have More Children
Former NFL MVP Cam Newton is once again facing backlash after sharing controversial thoughts about women and motherhood.
During a recent appearance on the “It’s Giving” podcast with Sarah Fontenot, the father of nine didn’t hold back. When asked whether a woman’s worth changes depending on how many children she has, Newton replied, “Women’s value get lower the more children that they have.”
The 36-year-old later explained that while he believes some men hesitate to date women with multiple children, he understands that loving a woman means embracing her kids too. He revealed that he once told one of his children’s mothers that if a future partner isn’t willing to love her five children, “he’s not the one.”
Still, he admitted some men want the relationship without the responsibility, adding “that ain’t how it work.”
Newton recently sparked criticism for comments made on his “Funky Friday” podcast, stating, “I’m not about to be around no woman platonically,” and adding, “I don’t have no attractive woman that I’m cool with that I do not have plans on stabbing.”
What are your thoughts on Cam’s latest remarks?
