Lil Wayne Not Retiring, But Will NEVER Work With Birdman Again [VIDEO]
The speculation surrounding Lil Wayne’s retirement can now end. Today, he appeared on the FOX Sports show Undisputed, and clarified his future in music. The 33-year-old Young Money leader said he’s not retiring, but admitted that his Twitter announcement stemmed from an argument with Birdman.
This is business. Once business is involved – I’ve got a family, I’ve got kids, I have a mother, I’ve got bills to pay – this is business, and once the business is right, everything is right. I did feel that way [about retiring], [and] I didn’t take the tweet down because I still feel that way. When something is done about it, then things will change.
When asked if he’d work with Birdman again, Tunechi replied,
No sir
He added,
There’s nothing behind that: give me mine, and I’ll walk off free.
