Janet Jackson Splits From Husband
Janet Jackson and her husband have split, according to a report. Sources claim that the 50-year-old singer and her multi-millionaire husband and Qatari businessman Wissam Al Mana have decided to end their marriage. This news comes just months after Janet gave birth to her first child, a son named Eissa, at the age of 50. A source says,
Sadly, Janet and Wissam have decided that it wasn’t working and to go their separate ways. They’re both busy people but determined to be good parents, even if they’re apart. It’s amicable and Eissa will stay with his mother, who is basing herself in London.
Reportedly, her recent retreat from the spotlight has been an issue in their marriage. No details on whether they signed prenups before jumping the broom, but Wissam, CEO of the multinational Al Mana business conglomerate, is estimated to have a fortune of around $1 billion.
Janet has been married twice before. The singer was briefly married to singer James DeBarge in 1984, but they split and the marriage was later annulled. Her second marriage was to Mexican back-up dancer Rene Elizondo. They wed in 1991 but divorced in 2000. Janet married in 2012. The couple have yet to confirm or deny the news.
