Stacey Dash Has Competition, Compton Mayor To Run Against Her!

Rumor has it, Stacey Dash is ALREADY facing an uphill political battle. As you know, the 51-year-old actress is planning to run for Congress in the 44th District. She’s already landed some coins to help finance her campaign.

Reportedly, Compton Mayor Aja Brown (35) is planning to throw her name in the ring and run against Dash and others. Brown, who has been co-signed from Compton and other Los Angeles natives like Kendrick Lamar, YG and Nipsey Hussle, is a Democrat.

We’re told that she doesn’t agree with Dash’s plan to run, as she feels that she is not as connected to the communities that she would like to serve.

As previously reported, the 44th District includes Compton (where Aja resides), Watts, San Pedro and North Long Beach. Aja’s team has yet to make an official announcement or address rumors of her intention to run.
